After following people online have you ever thought about how to look better?

How can you look more like a fitfluencer?

When I first became a trainer, I thought I was a fake.

I got on social media and all I saw were jacked muscly guys and ripped females.

I felt like I didn’t belong.

I always questioned myself because I didn’t look like them and I had major imposter syndrome.

This really affected me negatively for a long time because I thought that if I didn’t look like them, I shouldn’t be a trainer.

I’m glad I got some sense whipped into me when I met one of my mentors.

He was a very popular coach, just looked like a normal guy and he was very busy.

This gave me the confidence when I was younger that I had a chance to do well.

Looks do play some part when it comes to being a trainer because you do want to show that you practice what you preach, but looks aren’t everything.

Most of you reading this aren’t going to make this your career or your life.

Because of that, you need to think about the people you’re comparing yourself to…

You can only compare yourself to yourself.

Everyone is going to be different.

People have different physiques, careers and  lives.

You don’t know what other people are going through in other areas of their life and you shouldn’t need to worry about it.

You should focus on being better than you were yesterday and work on yourself.

Stop mindlessly scrolling through Instagram and playing a comparison game because you’re never going to win.

You’re going to always be unhappy because it looks like someone has it better than you.

Focus on being the best you, you can be.

It’s always you vs you.
