Picture this…

You’ve just woken up, gone to the bathroom, stood on the scales and you’re up 2kg

You look down at the scale and you’re upset.

“How could I be up 2kg, omg omg omg!

What am I going to wear today?

Nothing is going to fit me!!!

People are going to look at me and judge me when I work out

My colleagues are going to notice that I’m bloated.

I just want to crawl back into bed and hide from the world.

Why don’t you just slow TF down and have a breather for a second.

NO ONE is going to notice that you’ve randomly jumped up 1 – 2kg on the scale.

You are the only person who’s going to know this.

No one is going to look at you and think oh man, they’re looking a bit fluffier today.

I can tell they had an extra serving of dessert last night…

You know why no one is going to notice? Because everyone cares about themselves.

So stop letting that bloody scale dictate how you feel and accept that scale fluctuations happen to everyone every damn day.

Do not let that scale take control of the way your feel or impact your mood, you’re better than that.
